Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding tasks using different welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Prepare materials and surfaces for welding by cutting, shaping, and cleaning metal components.
  • Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to the required specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Education and Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in welding from a recognized institution or technical school.
  • Proven experience as a welder in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments.
