Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using different welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Prepare materials and surfaces for welding by cutting, shaping, and cleaning metal components.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Repair and maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to the required specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Education and Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding from a recognized institution or technical school.
- Proven experience as a welder in a similar role.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments.
