Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing the restaurant.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure stock levels are adequate.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage shifts to ensure proper coverage.
- Support the training and development of new staff members.
- Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures.
- Contribute to marketing and promotional activities to enhance customer experience and attract new business.
Education and Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is desirable.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
