Roles and Responsibilities
- Feed and water poultry, ensuring they receive appropriate nutrition and care.
- Monitor the health and well-being of poultry, identifying and reporting any signs of illness or distress.
- Clean and maintain poultry housing and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist with the collection and handling of eggs or other poultry products.
- Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the farm.
- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow farm protocols and safety procedures to ensure the welfare of the poultry and staff.
- Help with general farm tasks as needed, including repairs and maintenance.
Education and Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working on a poultry farm or in a similar agricultural role is advantageous.
- Knowledge of poultry care and farm operations.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
