Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring clients are safe and comfortable.
• Prepare and serve meals, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Monitor and record clients’ health and progress, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing living spaces.
• Administer medication as directed and ensure clients follow prescribed treatment plans.
• Follow care plans and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Education and Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in personal care or healthcare assistance is preferred.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role or similar position is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Ability to handle physical tasks and assist with mobility.
