Roles and Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding products and prices, providing helpful information.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area.
• Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with stocking shelves and organizing displays as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to transactions, returns, and exchanges.

Education and Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a food store or retail environment, is an asset.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
