Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and other social events.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for the event.
- Develop event proposals, budgets, and timelines.
- Source and book venues, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee event logistics, including transportation, catering, entertainment, and accommodation arrangements.
- Create detailed event schedules and communicate them to all stakeholders.
- Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring everything runs according to plan.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the event, ensuring a positive experience for clients and guests.
- Track event expenses and ensure the event stays within budget.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the event’s success and gather feedback.
Education and Qualification:
- A diploma or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
