Roles and Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment and workstations are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools in designated areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Dispose of garbage, recycling, and compost according to the restaurant’s waste management procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Monitor the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, addressing any issues promptly.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the kitchen or restaurant management.

Education and Qualification:

• No formal education is required; however, a high school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina, as the role requires standing for long periods and handling heavy items.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
