- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and issue receipts or refunds.
- Assist customers with inquiries, locate products, and provide information about merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Replenish stock and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues in a professional manner.
- Follow store policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.
Education and Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a cashier or retail role is advantageous.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating change.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
