Roles and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
• Process sales transactions quickly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy in pricing and change.
• Verify customer identification for the purchase of alcohol, adhering to legal requirements.
• Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Promote store products and special offers to customers.
• Balance the cash register at the end of the shift and report any discrepancies to the manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Education and Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
