Roles and Responsibilities

• Construction: Construct and install frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames, according to specifications and building codes.
• Repair: Perform repairs and maintenance on wooden structures and fixtures, ensuring durability and functionality.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
• Material Selection: Select and prepare materials based on project needs, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Tool Operation: Safely operate hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and sanders, to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to specified dimensions.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, contractors, and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget.

Education and Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship or relevant certification in carpentry is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in carpentry, with expertise in framing and general construction.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
