Roles and Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, bills, and other financial documents.
  • Maintain and update accounting ledgers and journals.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
  • Handle queries related to financial records and provide support during audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

Education and Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting or bookkeeping certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
