Roles and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and guest preferences.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and offer drink suggestions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate billing and cash management.
- Monitor guest behavior and respond appropriately to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide seamless service during busy periods.
- Stay updated on new drink recipes and beverage trends.
Education and Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment is preferred.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail preparation, and mixology techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certification in responsible beverage service (e.g., Smart Serve) is required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items such as kegs and cases of beverages.
