Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule truck routes to optimize delivery efficiency and meet customer deadlines.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to clients and addressing any issues or delays.
• Communicate with clients to confirm delivery schedules and handle any special requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery times, routes, and driver performance.
• Resolve any operational issues that arise, including managing driver disputes or vehicle problems.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Use dispatch software and other tools to manage and track logistics operations.

Education and Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or diploma in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
