Roles and Responsibilities
- Drink Preparation: Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to recipes and requests.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
- Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, cleaning countertops, and maintaining supplies.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of beverages and ingredients, and assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety and alcohol serving regulations, including checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
- Event Support: Assist with special events, promotions, and other activities as required.
Education and Qualification
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of various drink recipes, and basic math skills for handling payments.
